No requirement to remove the protective case on your iphone.Feb 25, 2010 This product is excellent. I searched all over for something like this but all the other brands are made to only fit the iphone itself and leave no extra room. I have a protective case on my iphone made by switch-easy. It is larger than most but this armband stretches nicely over it and holds it snugly. It seems tight enough to probably work with or without a case on the phone. I have been running with this product for about 2.5 weeks now and am extremely happy with it. The armband may be tight for those with large biceps. That would not deter me from buying this though. I'd just recommend buying a Velcro extension for the armband if you find it too tight on your arm. I find it best to insert the phone by stretching the case over the longer sides of the phone (one at a time) vs. top to bottom.
Confusing, seems dangerousFeb 21, 2010 When I was shopping for this armband (as well as a case), I was led to believe that this armband required the Defender case to work properly. Not the case (no pun intended). With the Defender case on (I have the biggest Defender case), there is no way the phone fits inside the pouch. With the case off, it fits in fine, but seems like it could possibly fall out if you tripped or maybe sneezed strongly. I do not feel that the phone is totally secure when it is in the case, and the side buttons are not really useable while the phone is in the case (so no volume control). However, it does hold the phone fine when I'm cycling, and it should comfortably fit on most people (I have 17" arms and it fits me fine). Overall a decent armband, but not what I expected from Otterbox.
Great Armband for Otterbox CaseFeb 16, 2010 We bought Otterbox cases for our iPhones. My wife runs half-marathons and likes to train with her iPhone. She was using the waist clip included with the Otterbox case, but it was very uncomfortable. I bought her this armband as a present, and she has liked it a lot better. I have taken up jogging, too, and have enjoyed the armband. One down side: when my wife ran her half-marathon with the armband, she was in a tank top. The armband rubbed a raw spot under her arm. Most of the time, though, she has short-sleeve shirts, which work fine. Overall, I would recommend because of the great quality, comfortable fit, and tight hold.
Otter Arm BandFeb 02, 2010 This product is not made for adults. It will only fit the fore arm of ladies or children.
I weigh 240 and it is much too small for my upper arm.

Arm Band does what it is supposed to do.Jan 18, 2010 I would recommend getting this arm band for the Defender series protective cases. It holds my iPhone very securely and stays put. The band wears very comfortably.
The only thing I do not like about this band is that when adjusting it on your arm the flexible band will bunch up on one side of the plastic buckles and then you have to straighten it out to the center. Once you do though, it seems to stay put Ok. I got this to mainly run and workout with. I would buy this arm band again even knowing about the small problem I mentioned.
